The forecast was calling for a cloudy sky and the rain was going to pour later but it turned out to be surprisingly fine Saturday’s morning with clear blue sky in Old town Alexandria! Christy and Erik love going to the Old town’s farmers market to get their weekly produces and it couldn’t be more appropriate to include some Farmers marketing shots in their engagement session — well, Christy herself insisted that this is a must! We started the day by strolling around Old town’s waterfront, Founders Park, Carlyle House Garden exploring various nooks and crannies of Old town; Then we proceeded to Market square where we got a lot cute shots of the two enjoying their time at the market as you will see below. We ended our session at a lovely sidewalk cafe enjoying some coffee and pastries — a perfect ending of a great Saturday’s morning. It was a pleasure working with both of you and it was a lot of fun hanging out with you guys! We will be looking forward to your wedding at the Merriweather Manor in Leesburg this upcoming September.
Your Dad actually picked up on the color coordination for your wedding – the peacock blue and burnt orange! The men in my life are catching me by surprise with their color wheel expertise!
And nice vest!
Ooo, so many good ones! I love the one with “the kiss” and the jars in the pic and the one on the dock, very romantic. Congratulations to you both, how wonderful!!!!! xoxo
