I had the pleasure to work with Amy and Joseph on a wonderful spring afternoon for the engagement session. We have been bouncing ideas about the location and the theme of this engagement shoot for a while and in the end, Amy and JP decided to choose Dumbarton Oak gardens and Georgetown for their session. It was such a fine afternoon and the weather could not have been more perfect — clear blue sky, bright sunny spring day and the temperature is just right. We started the session at Dumbarton Oak gardens, a secret gem of Georgetown, and then proceeded for a sunset stroll around C&O canal. It has been wonderful getting to know you guys and working with both of you — thank you for being patient throughout the session! And here we got some wonderful photos from the session!
The last shot above was when we were searching for the Key Bridge overlook that we never found; Instead, we got a chance to play with off camera flash and colorful/classic Georgetown Rowhouse and got this wonderful shot! We will see you both again at your wedding at Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel in November!
