It was such an honor for us when we Chris and Jen asked us to photograph their wedding! (Check out their engagement photos here). We have to say that we do feel especially honored when someone from WeddingWire ask us to photograph their wedding! (And this is the second time this year for us! Check out beautiful Hindu wedding of Sara and Steve) In case you don’t know, WeddingWire is a leading wedding destination website/app helping engaged couples plan their wedding online smoothly. Recently they were named as one of the most promising American companies according to Forbes Magazine and they recently launched a very cool app that help you gather your wedding photos from your guest called WedSocial, go check it out!
The main event took place at Loews Madison Hotel in Downtown DC on a beautiful spring day. Jen looked absolutely stunning in the beautiful gown from Kleinfelds and Chris looked super sharp in that black tux! We started the day capturing the girls getting ready in the spacious penthouse with awesome terrace with view of Washington Monument and ended the day with a legendary non-stop dance party! It was such a memorable event for us and we are thankful that we have a chance to be a part of this! Big congrats to you both — Chris and Jen, we are certain that the path ahead of you guys will be filled with laughters and will be just as beautiful as your wedding day!

[…] Leading up to the wedding, Julie was informed of some sad news that had effected Jenn and her wedding party. Not knowing how the wedding day atmosphere would be, Julie showed up with her normal smiley face ready to make everyone look and feel beautiful. To her surprise, the atmosphere was light and pleasant. As the day went on she couldn’t help but completely enjoy herself as Jenn and her gals were so funny and seriously made her laugh most of the time she was working. The whole situation was special to Julie, and it really touched her. In other words the quote ” Be HAPPY not because everything is good, but because you can see the good in everything ” really hit home. This was a wedding Julie will remember for a long time, because it was not only Julies first wedding of the 2014 season, but because Jenn and her gals were purely joyful and it was ridiculously infectious.
