Your studio lead photographer is the primary photographer for your wedding. They lead the photography coverage, guide you through portraits, anticipate meaningful moments, and work closely with the rest of our team to document your celebration.
Each brings an individual perspective while sharing the approach that defines our studio: honest storytelling, thoughtful composition, beautiful light, and an editorial sensibility. They know when to offer gentle direction and when to give a moment room to unfold.

You’ll have the opportunity to explore their work, get to know their approach, and share what matters most to you well before the celebration. We believe that connection should begin early, giving you time to feel comfortable and confident in the people who will be there with you.
Nat’s vision and close creative direction
Nat remains closely involved in the creative direction and supervision of both photography and cinematography. He works with our team to shape a thoughtful, cohesive approach to your celebration, keeping your photographs and films connected in feeling, style, and attention to detail.
Your lead photographer brings the experience to guide the photography on the day, supported by Nat’s ongoing creative oversight and a team accustomed to working together.
When his schedule allows, Nat also joins the team on your wedding day.

Kyle Phillips
Studio Lead Photographer
Kyle’s connection to photography began with family: childhood afternoons in front of his grandfather’s camera, and later, the gift of his first professional camera from his father. That early appreciation for photographs as a way to preserve people and memories continues to shape his work.
Part of our studio since 2017, Kyle brings a calm presence and a distinctive eye for light and shadow. His photographs balance cinematic atmosphere with the intimacy of real emotion, finding beauty in both thoughtfully composed portraits and moments that unfold naturally.
Based in the Washington, D.C. area, Kyle photographs weddings close to home and around the world. His love of travel brings a curiosity about each setting, drawing inspiration from its culture, character, and light.
Joe Ng
Studio Lead Photographer
Joe brings a thoughtful eye and an easy sense of humor to photographing weddings. He is drawn to the moments when people feel free to be themselves: an unguarded laugh, a familiar embrace, or a quiet exchange in the middle of a lively celebration.
Part of our studio since 2021, Joe blends documentary storytelling with cinematic composition and a skillful use of natural and off-camera lighting. He knows when a little direction will help and when to step back, giving couples space to enjoy the day.
Based in the Washington, D.C. area, Joe photographs weddings locally and beyond. His approach pairs technical care with an approachable personality, helping couples feel relaxed while creating photographs that feel personal and full of life.
