We started the day watching the sunrise over the Potomac with Erryn and Danny in Old Town Alexandria — a place that they both dearly cherish. Erryn and Danny live and work in Old Town, they wanted their engagement photographs to be taken in Old Town, and they will be getting married at the George Washington Masonic Memorial in Old Town!

Needless to say, they both are Old Town experts; usually, I will plan places to go during the engagement session, but this time I was more than happy to have Erryn and Danny guide us through various locations! We started with the sunrise over the Potomac by the waterfront, then we stopped by beautiful row houses along Queen & Pitt St before making our way to Market Square/City Hall, then we strolled along King Street and stopped by a cobblestone street before heading over to the final stop — the Masonic Temple. It was so refreshing to work with Erryn and Danny as they took me through new nooks and crannies to which I had never been! It was so much fun working with both of you and I can’t wait to capture your wedding in April 2013!
