The forecast was calling for a high chance of shower on the day Christy and Erik got married; it turned out that there was only less than a minute of very light shower just before the wedding started. It turned out to be a very beautiful September day at the Merriweather Manor in Leesburg, VA. The sun broke out of the clouds right before Christy and Erik was pronounced husband and wife and shared their first kiss as a married couple!

The venue was stunning — a historic manor overlooking rolling hills of Loudon county. There was no cake cutting nor bouquet toss yet there were a lot of laughters, great friend/family time, a big herd of bisons (where we got some National Geographic wedding moments), sundae ice cream bar and a lot of dancing! It was definitely one of the most memorable weddings we had an honor to photograph. Thank you for allowing us to be part of this, it was truly a pleasure and an honor. Congratulations once more Christy and Erik!
